It can be extended while in the country for another 30 days, giving a total stay of 60 days. While the earliest time when foreigners can start the visa on arrival extension process is 14 days just before current visa expires, it should be extended as late as one day before expiration.

How Much and How to do

VOA extension costs IDR 500.000,- and should be processed online through the website evisa.imigrasi.go.id by selecting the menu Services → Find Existing Stay Permit → Input Data → Action → Extend. Make sure to do the process on time. Otherwise, there will be problems, such as overstaying. Bear in mind that foreigners who are overstaying in Indonesia will be fined IDR 1.000.000,-/a day. After submitting the extension application through the website evisa.imigrasi.go.id and making the payment, the applicant is required to have their photo taken at the nearest immigration office one (1) working day after the payment. The location will be determined based on the address and postal code entered on the website, so make sure to input the address according to your place of residence on that date.

Please ensure that the requirements for the VOA extension are complete, including a valid ticket for departure from Indonesia.

Note
